You would have received an email with detailed instructions. If not, no sweat! Simply register here, with the email address you supplied the school with. Once you’ve registered you will see your barcode in your profile page. Download it, print it, and you’re all set to go!

You should have received a link to visit the “orders” section of the website. If not, please go here and click on the “View” button as per below. You will then be able to download your barcode.

You will need to do two separate transactions. Don’t worry, we will send you a coupon code for free shipping after your first order so that you don’t get charged twice!

We have a list of preferred printers here. They know the product and can offer a variety of options. You can always get it printed yourself, but we really recommend you use our tried and tested printers!

On opening the parent app it will give you the option to scan the item. It will give you an error report if not scanning. You then may need to put a new label on the item or garment. If you are receiving and error on all your labels please contact us.

If the item has a barcode the scanner will register an error when it is scanned.
If there is an error the school will contact Never Lost with your child’s name and we will make sure you are notified of the missing item.
The only time you will not be notified would be if your registration has expired and has not be renewed.
You can always download and re-print more barcodes if need be.

No they cannot. Only the school has the ability to send the notification to the parent. Your child’s name will be on the label so if he or she does leave something at a friend’s house it is easy to return it.

If the other school is part of the Never Lost system you will still receive a notification to let you know that the item has been found and the message will contain the other schools details as well as the collection point.

The Never Lost system has been created for parents, kids and schools. There will no longer be a ‘Lost Property’ It will now be a ‘Come and Collect’
If your child’s lost item does not have a barcode on it, it will be sent to the second hand shop for re-sale.

Of course! In fact that is the best way to ensure the system works properly. We have a process to import all school children and we even have a process to on-board parents too.

This is the best way to make sure that all the items are definitely being scanned every day and returned to their rightful owners. The more items that are being collected makes it that much easier to locate the missing items.
